The Microsoft CMT service was used for managing the peer-reviewing process for this conference. This service was provided for free by Microsoft and they bore all expenses, including costs for Azure cloud services as well as for software development and support.

Paper Template

• Authors can submit their work in the form of a complete paper or an abstract.
• Complete papers can be submitted as a Regular Paper, representing completed and validated research, or as a Position Paper, portraying a short report of work in progress or an arguable opinion about an issue discussing ideas, facts, situations, methods, procedures or results of scientific research focused on one of the conference topic areas.
• An abstract can be submitted to the Abstracts Track, either because the work done represents a very early stage of research, or because the authors wish to present to the audience the results of an already published paper.
• In the latter case the paper cannot be republished. However, the authors can attach to the abstract a complete paper or a video, if permission to share any such complementing materials is provided.
• The abstract itself can only have a limited number of characters.
• All reviews follow a double-blind process.
• All papers are subject to plagiarism analysis using a software tool prior to review.
• All regular papers are reviewed by at least two reviewers, but usually by three or more, and rated considering their Relevance, Originality, Technical quality.
• Authors should submit a paper in English, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling, addressing one or several of the conference areas or topics.
• Each paper should clearly indicate the nature of its technical/scientific contribution, and the problems, domains or environments to which it is applicable.
• The use of artificial intelligence (AI)–generated text in an article should be disclosed in the acknowledgements section of any paper submitted to this conference.
• The sections of the paper that use AI-generated text should include a citation to the AI system used to generate the text.
• To facilitate the double-blind paper evaluation method, authors are kindly requested to produce and provide the paper WITHOUT any reference to any of the authors, including the authors’ personal details, the acknowledgments section of the paper and any other reference that may disclose the authors’ identity.
• All papers must be submitted through the online submission platform CMT Portal and should follow the instructions and templates that can be found under Guidelines and Templates.
  Authors must prepare manuscripts in English using Times New Roman font on A4 size paper (210 × 297 mm) with margins of 3.3 cm (top), 4.2 cm (bottom), and 2.6 cm (left and right). The paper title should be 15-pt bold and centered, followed by author names (11-pt) and affiliations (9-pt italic). Each paper must include keywords and an abstract of 70–200 words in 9-pt font. The main text should be formatted in two columns (7.5 cm width with 0.8 cm spacing) using 10-pt justified text Section headings should follow the specified hierarchy (section titles in 13-pt bold capitals, subsections in 12-pt bold). Tables and figures must be numbered, placed within the margins, with captions in 9-pt font (tables above, figures below). Equations should be centered and numbered, and program code should use a monospaced font such as Courier New. References must follow the APA author–date citation style, listed alphabetically in 9-pt font with hanging indent, and self-citations should not exceed 20% of total references. Authors should not include headers, footers, or page numbers, as these will be added by the publisher.
• After the paper submission has been successfully completed, authors will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail.

All submitted manuscripts will be subjected to a similarity check using a licensed version of iThenticate: Plagiarism Detection Software. Articles achieving a minimal similarity index (less than 15%) alone will be examined, and those deemed unacceptable will be rejected or withdrawn without a formal review.

Submissions should also ensure less than 3% similarity from a single source. Authors are requested to refrain from plagiarism in any form. Authors should submit original and unpublished research work which is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Manuscripts with a higher similarity index will be rejected at any review stage. As per the copyright transfer agreement, authors are deemed individually and collectively responsible for the content of manuscripts published by them. Hence, it is the responsibility of each author to strive for the highest ethical standards concerning plagiarism.

The use of content generated by artificial intelligence (AI) in an article in any form (text, figures, images, and code) shall be clearly disclosed in the acknowledgments section of the paper submitted for review.

The AI system used shall be identified, and specific sections of the article that use AI-generated content shall be clearly mentioned along with a brief explanation regarding the level at which the AI system was used to generate the content. Failing to disclose AI usage will result in direct rejection without reviewer comments.

The ICAIMEST 2026 conference review process follows a double-blind review process. The plagiarism check committee initially verifies the submitted paper using the iThenticate plagiarism detection tool. A maximum of 15% similarity with proper citations is permitted before initiating the review process.

Each paper will be reviewed by a minimum of three reviewers, all of whom are subject experts. A maximum of five papers will be assigned to a single reviewer.

Papers will be selected based on technical quality, relevance to the theme of the conference, originality, significance, and clarity. The review process will be organized by a strong team of national and international technical committee members from specialized domains.

The following is the acceptance criteria for papers in the 2nd International Conference on Engineering and Technology for Sustainable Future (ICAIMEST 2026):

The paper’s relevance to the conference’s themes: The authors have to make sure that the paper should relate to the conference’s core themes or any other works within scope of conference domains. Ideally, the paper should address the issues, the works, or the advancements in these areas.

Originality and Innovation: The submissions have to be completely original works that are not published or under review elsewhere. Moreover, submissions must present some novel ideas, methods, or applications within their domains.

Technical Depth and Contribution: The paper must present some technical in-depth work and also some substantial contribution to the field, such as the proposed methods, frameworks, systems must be well-delineated and it should advance or improve the existing work.

Methodology and Validation: The research methodology must be very robust and well described, and it should be suitable for the study, and the research results must be verified.

Clarity of Presentation: The paper should be very well structured with a good introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussions, and a conclusion. It should be very well-written with minimum grammatical errors and it should be comprehensible to the conference’s target audience.

Ethical Consideration: It must consider the Ethical considerations, especially for sensitive topics such as AI, healthcare, and data privacy, etc., and it should follow the Ethical guidelines, for example, providing good citation and not writing a biased report.

Comprehensive literature: It should contain a comprehensive literature survey and find the gaps in the existing literature and how the proposed work is filling those gaps and has to have proper citation and references as per conference template.

Quality of result and analysis: The quality of the result must be provided with different graphs, charts, tables, or visual tools to present the results. The analysis must be done efficiently to give more insights from the result and also state the limitations using the result.

Submission guidelines: As the final process, all the submissions must adhere to the conference’s submission guidelines related to the page limit, font style, and other requiring things and also should be submitted within the deadline specified.

Post-Acceptance Ethical Oversight: The organizing committee reserves the right to investigate any ethical concerns raised after publication and, if necessary, retract papers that are found to violate ethical standards.

To ensure the ethical quality of the submission, the reviewer follows the below criteria:

Confidentiality Assurance: Reviewers are required to maintain confidentiality of the submitted manuscripts and should not use or share any information from the paper for personal advantage or in any other context.

Originality: Paper must be original, and not plagiarised. All references should cite correctly and properly.

Ethical Practice: Transparency related to the collection, use, and sharing of data. The author must disclose any potential conflict of interest.

Data Integrity: Authors need to ensure the integrity of their data and methods. The paper should have accurate, reliable, unmanipulated data.

Acknowledgment: Authors should be acknowledged, and credit should be given to funding sources, institutions or individuals, etc.

Disclosure of Funding and Conflicts of Interest: The author must disclose any funding sources, and any financial or nonfinancial conflict of interest.

Compliance with Conference Policies: Authors should follow conference policies. In the event of substantial ethical concerns, author agreement to publish corrections or retractions.

Reviewer Conflict of Interest Declaration: Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest (financial, academic, institutional, or personal) with the authors or their work and recuse themselves from the review process if such conflicts exist.

Reviewer Code of Conduct / Ethics Statement: Reviewers are expected to conduct reviews objectively, provide constructive feedback, avoid personal criticism, and complete reviews in a timely manner.

Reviewers will give Suggestions in three parts::

a. Mandatory changes / corrections

b. Possible modifications for betterment

c. Suggestions for extending the work in future (for implementing while submitting in journal special issues of the conference)

Role of the reviewers will comprise:

1. Strict and rigorous review process for papers received.

2. Peer reviewers will identify and point out gaps in concern paper which require explanation or additional work or validation.

3. Valid suggestions for authors of contributed papers for further improvement.

4. Compromise will not be entertained in consideration or acceptance of paper.

5. Papers will be rigorously evaluated based on novelty, significance, clarity, relevance, and repeatability.
